Michiganians

Over Memorial Day weekend Trent had the opportunity to go to Michigan for work, to a truck show. And since we have our besties out there we took advantage and made it a vacation :) We flew in on Thursday and hung out with Shane and Kelsey at their house for the first night and then we began our 3 1/2 hour journey to the truck show.
Trent's pet frog

We saw a replica of the Bat-mobile! It was super cool!

Trent at his post :)
Doesn't he look he cute! A girl came up to him and started asking him about what he was selling and while he was talking she said "You're beautiful. I could listen to you talk all day." haha Trent did not know what to say to that exactly so he just kept talking about the products haha and then she asked "Oh, is that a wedding ring?" Trent said yes and she just was like oh, ok have a good day and left. haha I have a good lookin' hubby!
After the truck show we got to spend some time at Kelsey's parents cabin on Lake George with her family! It was beautiful there!

This is Kona, she is the Trott's newest addition to the family. She is only 4 months old and weighs around 75lbs! Are yuh kiddin!

This is Kally she is massive! But the sweetest dog!

Trent and Shane lit fireworks off all weekend and they decided to wade in the water but they didn't want to get their shorts wet so this is what they did :) haha then later that night they went paddle boarding and they shot fireworks at each other. Great idea yah?

Trent and Shane wake-boarding together. It looks like they are holding hands but they are really giving each other a high-five.

Class of 2012

My little bro graduated from High School! I can't believe it! In the next month or two he will be putting in his mission papers which is even more unbelievable. I'm so proud of him! Good job Drew-skie!

Water Bottle Thief

So yesterday Trent and I went to Jamba Juice. One of my favorite summer treats. We were standing in line behind a bunch of high school students and to the side of the cash register next to the counter was a round cooler with cold waters and drinks for sale. So as we are waiting, one of these high school students decides he is thirsty and takes one of the water bottles out, opens it up and takes a drink and then he looks around and puts the water in his pocket...really?? You're going to steal a water? I don't think so buddy. I turned to Trent and was like "Did you see that?! I am not letting him get away with that!"
Trent "Yah kids are stupid"
Me "I'm going to say something" (I'm not a very vocal person when it comes to things like this. I mean I have never ran into a situation like this but things like, if my order on my food is wrong or something like that I would rather sit back and just choke it down then make a big seen or have them fix it.)
Trent (with a skeptical look on his face) "Ok, if you want to. I have your back."
So the kid proceeds to tell the cashier girl what he wants and and the she asks "Is there anything else I can get you?" (This is where I step in :))
Me "Yes, he would also like to buy the bottled water that is in his pocket."
Wow talk about awkward. I was shaking like crazy. the boy just stands there and was like "uhhh yah uhh that too" he didn't look at me or anything he just stood there with a stupid look on his face and then I got right back in line behind him. :) haha hopefully he will think twice before stealing something...even as small as a water ;)

Brian Reagan

Last weekend we went to St George and went and saw Brian Reagan. It was nice to get away. Nielsen's is a favorite of ours and its a tradition to go there at least once while we are down there. The weather was beautiful! It was around 90 degrees the whole time which was so nice!

St George Temple

One of my very favorite things about St George is the all the red rocks it is so pretty! Brian Reagan was at the Tuacan which is also one of my absolute favorite places to go...it is gorgeous...you cant help but stare at the sceneary.

The Dallas Cowboys...

Wow...I don't even know where to begin with this post. I guess you could say Trent is obsessed with them. He can not miss a game if it's not on TV he is on the internet trying to figure out how they are doing. It takes a lot to upset Trent and he is a very patient person but if you stand in the way of his football, watch out cuz he may throw something at you. I have always enjoyed football, my parents are huge BYU fans and they have season tickets to all the football games. I don't have a favorite NFL team and I can not say I love the Cowboys. Especially Mr Tony Romo (Homo) whichever you prefer...definately not a fan of him. However I can say I LOVE Miles Austin...very dreamy...(p.s. Trent is aware of this)

I probably know a little more about the Cowboys then I would like but I will say that I love watching NFL with my hubby every Sunday during football season. :)
